The Facts About Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are funded through the Learning and Skills Council and provide employers with new junior employees who work and train in your business. Your existing employees also maybe eligible to commence an apprenticeship.

Weekly wages are a minimum of:  £80 this is due to increase to £95 from 1st August 2009

 

We recruit people who wish to commence an apprenticeship from all areas of the North East  and  Apprentices can start at anytime of year!  

 

Your business can benefit from our advice and support with selecting suitable applicants for interview, or if you already employ a person who would benefit from gaining a qualification we maybe able to place them on an apprenticeship for you.

 

Employing an apprentice is straight forward and hassle free:

  2. We will search suitable applicants (who have already been interviewed and selected by our tutors)

  3. We will arrange interviews to suit you

  4. You select the person and their apprenticeship will commence

A minimal amount of paperwork is required along with a basic heatlh & safety check prior to starting an apprentice.

Throughout the apprenticeship our staff will visit you and your apprentice regularly to review thier progress and support you, the apprentice, and your business.

 

In most cases there is no additional cost for apprentices, however employers are required to contribute towards accounting apprenticeships (AAT) contact us for current costs which include: AAT subscription fees, examination fees, text books and simulations.
